Requirements of the process in Chapter 36 Texas Water Code:

• Prior to May 1, propose for adoption desired future conditions (DFCs)
• 90 day (minimum) public comment period begins on the day the proposed DFCs are mailed to the GCDs in the management area
• During the public comment period, each GCD shall hold a public hearing on the proposed DFCs
